Welcome to Fightbraincancer.org!
The Susan E. Lusty Glioblastoma Foundation was founded to fulfill the last wish of an amazing woman. Susan battled glioblastoma for 10 months and, during that time, she realized that there was a great need for a foundation to help people cope with the disease, both emotionally and financially. The day before Susan passed peacefully in her sleep, her daughter, Leigh Anne Tibak sat by Susan’s bedside and gave her the good news…her last wish had come true and a foundation was officially established in her honor. The mission of the foundation is to help people afflicted with glioblastoma spend more precious time with loved ones. Through this Web site, a fund with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and other awareness initiatives, including patient literature and newsletters, The Susan E. Lusty Glioblastoma Foundation is dedicated to helping as many people as possible in as many ways as possible. Please remember that we are here for you. Stay strong, keep fighting, and love the ones you love as hard as you can.
