ChooseACharity.net will present an evening of
ballroom dancing, dinner and a vintage hat auction
to benefit patients and their families fighting brain cancer on
Friday, April 20, 2007 from 7 pm to 11 pm. at the Basking Ridge Country Club,
185 Madisonville Road in Basking Ridge NJ.
The event will benefit the Susan E. Lusty Glioblastoma Foundation (www.fightbraincancer.org)
and fifty percent of the proceeds will be used to establish a memorial fund for
Mary Melanowski, former board member of Friends of the Shelter who passed away
in 2000 from a glioblastoma. Funds raised will be used for non-medical needs of
patients and their families such as transportation, hotel accommodations and
hospice care.
